thunderbird start niet meer op

Ik kan mijn thunderbird niet meer opstarten. Mogelijk heeft dat te maken met Messenger Plus! Live dat is geïnstalleerd. Ik heb dat al proberen te verwijderen. Maar ik krijg ook steeds, als ik Firefox start en naar de startpagina Google.nl wil gaan (zo had ik hem ingesteld) de volgende startpagina: http://search.conduit.com/?ctid=CT256769...Source=13. Wat te doen? Kennelijk heb ik niet alles gedeïnstalleerd.

Welke extensies heb je in Firefox geïnstalleerd? Doe even het volgende.. Die log zal het weergeven...
* Download DDS en bewaar het op je bureaublad.
Schakel programma's uit die scripts blokkeren, zoals je Antivirus
Dubbelklik dds.scr om de tool te starten.
Daarna zal DDS.txt openen.
Klik Yes voor de Optional Scan. Dit zal het bestand Attach.txt maken.
Kopieer en plak beide logs in je volgende post Het is beter om hiervoor twee posts te maken aangezien beide logs niet in één post zullen passen.

Voor je thunderbird zullen we later kijken. Laat wel even weten welke foutmelding je krijgt wanneer je thunderbird opstart.

als ik de snelkoppeling aanklik op het bureaublad of in de taakbalk, doet hij helemaal niets. Je ziet een seconde lang het zandlopertje, verder niets.

Dit zijn conduit toolbars die je hebt geïnstalleerd die in beide Firefox en IE worden geïnstalleerd. Deze zijn niet aangeraden, dus raad ik je aan om volgende te deïnstalleren:

Deze veroorzaken dus die startpagina die je eerder aangaf

Herstart je pc daarna.
Normaal gezien zou deze ze ook moeten verwijderen uit je firefox na deïnstallatie.

Voor je Thunderbird. Blijkbaar is dit een vaak voorkomend probleem: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=365392
Wat ik eerst en vooral zou doen is een backup maken van je Thunderbird profiel map. Lees hier waar je die kan vinden en hoe daar een backup van te maken:

Of je kan Mozbackup gebruiken die ook de optie heeft om profielen in Thunderbird te backuppen: http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/
plaats die backup op je bureaublad ofzo.
Desnoods gebruik Mozbackup én maak ook nog een manuele backup (dit om zeker te zijn in geval je Thunderbird profiel toch corrupt is, dus het ook geen correcte backup kan maken).

Daarna doe je een clean install van Thunderbird. Dit houdt in, eerst Thunderbird deïnstalleren.
Daarna manueel de mappen verwijderen. Dit zijn de mappen: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird en C:\Documents and Settings\Edo\Application Data\Thunderbird.

Daarna, installeer thunderbird opnieuw en kijk of het dan opstart (dit zonder dat je de backup van je profiel hebt teruggeplaatst). Als dat goed gaat, kan je backup van je profiel terugplaatsen. Dit kan je onderaan hier ook lezen hoe dit te doen: http://help.mozbrowser.nl/thunderbird/profile.html

Nu heb ik nog wel die vervelende Messenger Plus!Live startpagina, ipv de door mij ingestelde google.nl.

Bovendien is mijn pc de laatste tijd nogal traag geworden. Zou je willen kijken of er wat aan de hand is.

Nu heb ik wel gelezen dat je programma's die mee opstarten, kunt uitschakelen, maar je ik weet niet welke. Kun je mij een tip geven welke ik kan selecteren om niet mee op te laten starten?

Wat betreft die Messenger Plus startpagina, is dit in je Internet Explorer of Firefox? Normaal gezien, na het deïnstalleren van de toolbars die ik al heb aangegeven zou het volgende ook moeten verwijderd hebben in je Firefox:

FF - prefs.js: browser.search.defaulturl - hxxp://search.conduit.com/ResultsExt.aspx?ctid=CT2567693&SearchSource=3&q={searchTerms}
FF - prefs.js: browser.search.selectedEngine - Messenger Plus Live Netherlands Customized Web Search
FF - prefs.js: browser.startup.homepage - hxxp://search.conduit.com/?ctid=CT2567693&SearchSource=13
FF - prefs.js: keyword.URL - hxxp://search.conduit.com/ResultsExt.aspx?ctid=CT2567693&q=

Wat je gewoon best kan doen is gewoon deze waarden terug naar standaard laten zetten in je Firefox.
Dit doe je door naar de Firefox veilige mode te gaan:
http://support.mozilla.com/nl/kb/Veilige+modus
Daar selecteer je enkel:
* Alle gebruikersvoorkeuren naar Firefox-standaardwaarden terugzetten
* Standaard zoekmachines herstellen.

Klik daarna op "Wijzigingen doorvoeren" en herstarten.
