How to use HijackThis and post a log

First of all, for english users, change the forum software language to english. To do this, look at the bottom right of this forum and select "English-American" from the dropdown menu.

To download and use HijackThis:

* Download Trend Micro Hijack This™
Download and install the "Installer" version.
By default it will install HijackThis in the Program Files\Trendmicro folder and create a desktop shortcut.
HijackThis will open after install. Press the Scan button below.
This will start the scan and open a log.

Then click the following link in order to start a new thread:
http://www.mivercon.be/forum/newthread.php?fid=62

Give the thread a subject and copy and paste the contents of the HijackThis-log in the message field.
Also give a detailed description of your problem. After all, the more info you give, the better we can help.
In case you can't post the message, then this means you didn't register here yet. In that case, click the "Registreren" button on top and register here.

Extra note:
Make sure you enter a valid mailaddress during registration, because a validation mail will be send to you after registration (will be normally within 30 mins). The mail contains a link to activate your account here, otherwise you won't be able to post.
In case you didn't receive the activation link by mail after registration, click the resend validation button on top.
